-This section should provide an in-depthreview of public health interventions and programs that have incorporated health behavior theories to address your group’s specific selected health behavior/issue. Programs/interventions that are reviewed can focus on prevention, screening, or management of your group’s assigned health behavior/issue.-

.In particular, please review the scientific and evidence-based literature and summarize program/interventions that have utilized each of the following to address your selected health behavior/issue:  

a) Individual behavior theory

b) Interpersonal behavior theory

Review THREE program/interventions for each of the above ecological levels.

For each program/intervention reviewed, please report on the following,  presenting items A-F as separate sub-headings:

A)  What was the population of focus? (i.e. Who was the program developed for? Who participated?)

B)  What was the setting/context? (i.e. Where did the intervention/program take place?)

C)  What theory or theories did the program/intervention utilize? (i.e. How did it inform the program activities?)

D)  How was the theory integrated/applied into the program/intervention? (i.e. How was theory operationalized?)

E)  What methods were used to evaluate the effectiveness of the theory-based program/intervention?(Discuss specific theoretical constructs that were evaluated, and what methods were used to evaluate them)

F) What were the outcomes?    (Discuss the extent to which the program/intervention was effective for producing outcomes among participants)

  • Master patient index for the hospital you chose. How will this be retained?

  • State & Federal retention guidelines (i.e. Utah retention guidelines state 7 years for adults, AHIMA advises 10 years)
  • Destruction methods (figure 9.7) of health records, what must the hospital contain upon destruction of health record
