Patient’s medical chart

Imagine this scenario you accidentally throw out a sheet of a patient’s medical chart. The trash has already been taken away, so there is no chance for you to get it back. You are now in the office, and you are afraid of losing your job if you tell the provider what you have done. You remember the information that was on the sheet and think you can easily rewrite it.

Summary and Descriptive Statistics

Summary and Descriptive Statistics. There is often the requirement to evaluate descriptive statistics for data within the organization or for health care information. Every year the National Cancer Institute collects and publishes data based on patient demographics.

Understanding differences between the groups based on the collected data often inform health care professionals towards research, treatment options, or patient education.

Using the data on the “National Cancer Institute Data” Excel spreadsheet, calculate the descriptive statistics indicated below for each of the Race/Ethnicity groups. Create Excel formulas.

1.Measures of Central Tendency: Mean, Median, and Mode

2.Measures of Variation: Variance, Standard Deviation, and Range

3.Analysis of descriptive statistics

Refusal to accept a Legitimate delegation

Below are some common delegation issues with examples. Give your own examples of over-delegation, under-delegation, and refusal to accept a legitimate delegation, and explain what you would do in each case.

Over-delegation. (Would you pass my medications for me and sign off my orders? I’m really busy).

Under-delegation. (I’ll do it myself. The nursing assistant argues with me when I ask her to do something/I always have to do it over).

Refusal to accept assignment of legitimate delegation. (I don’t know how to do that very well/I have too much work already/It’s always me that gets the work; ask someone else/I’m too busy/I won’t be able to do a very good job, but if that’s what you want…)

change proposal is related to Fall prevention in the elderly in a home setting

My capstone change proposal is related to fall prevention in the elderly in a home setting. Please help me to discuss the highlights of my strategic plan and any modifications that need to be made. based on strategic plan. My strategic plan includes; conducting a survey to see how healthcare providers and elderly patients who have experienced falls in homes and care facilities will view the proposed nursing intervention.

The next step is to educate the elderly patients so that they will willingly participate in the planned intervention. Educating and training the nursing staff about fall prevention.

Please use at least two articles published within the five years period to prepare the assignment. Thank you
