People who experience significant head trauma

People who experience significant head trauma or concussion are susceptible to a disease called diabetes insipidus. With this disease, the body is unable to concentrate urine and ends up urinating up to 2 to 3 times the normal amount of urine and the urine is very dilute. The body cells become highly concentrated with solutes, so much so that additional electrolytes are not necessary to take in.
