Why I choose nursing for a potential career path

Why I want to become a nurse

My interest in the nursing field is strongly centered on the fact that nursing is grounded in
the provision of care. I am an empath, and I have always worked as a volunteer at shelters, also
helping out when communities close to my hometown were ravaged by disasters. Working as a
nurse will provide me with the skillset I need to offer care with confidence since I will be well
equipped with the information necessary to make a positive and permanent impact on a patient’s
life. When I become a nurse, I will be in a much better position to serve my community, giving
me better control compared to the little I have been doing as a volunteer.

Growing up, we had a neighbor who was a Registered Nurse, and since she was friends
with my mother and we lived fairly close, she took care of every scrape, cough, and minor
complication I had as a child. She motivated me to consider nursing as a career……………….
