My Puppy Milo Link (Links to an external site.) You will be creating 3 short (1-3 min.) videos. I suggest using an app like Adobe Spark or ivideo. Both are free and very easy and fun to use. You will use your phone to take photos and or videos, then add voice, music and text to add your message and complete your video. If you do not have a phone that can do this or would rather take a video using a different system, please talk to me after class.
DUE DATE: Video #1 is due by the end of Week 2 Sunday 6/27/21 at 11:00pm. Create your video and upload it to Canvas as a media recording or if the system creates a website URL link, you can submit that link to Canvas on the Assignments tab: Video #1 AND on the Video Viewing Discussion Module (located above Module 1/Week 1).
Please watch each others’ videos so that you can get to know your classmates and what their career goals are! :)- it’s a lot of fun!!
Video #1 will be used to explain what career you aspire to obtain. Why does this career speak to you? Why will medical terminology be important in that career?
Video #2 will be used to teach about a health promotion topic, an illness prevention topic or an illness teaching tool that is specific to a certain illness (you can choose). These videos should be teaching tools, so they should be developed by health professionals (you) and geared toward lay people.
Please make sure your videos have a clear message, are understandable, are creative and polished looking and use at least 10 medical terminology terms each.
Here is how points will be awarded:
- 0-3 points possible: Clear Message
- 0-2 points possible: Creative and Polished
- Total Points Possible: 5
