Behavioral interventions for adolescents

Everyone has unique needs, and you addressed the care plan in detail. The Community Preventive Services Task Force (CPSTF) recommends community education and behavioral interventions for adolescents to improve the development of reducing STIs, HIV, and teen pregnancy.

Topics to address include interventions that focus on improving decision-making, communication skills, and positive bonding experiences between youth and their peers or non-parental role models to reduce poor sexual behaviors in this population.

Screening for STIs is vital in people having unprotected sex (Community Prevention Services Task Force [CPSTF], 2007).

During which stage of the health plan would you implement screenings for this population?
