Cardiogenic shock

Your Patient. Mr. Jones has a history of Coronary artery disease. Mr. Jones was not feeling well and
came to the ER. He has diagnosed with cardiogenic shock. Vasopressor is ordered.
1. What is Cardiogenic shock (CS)? What will be the vital signs for a Cardiogenic shock patient? List Mr. Jones’s vital signs. What is you plan of care for Mr. Jones?

2. Why would a vasopressor be harmful to surrounding tissues if it leaked out of the vein?
