Identify four organelles that should be present in the eukaryotic organism

Identify four organelles that should be present in the eukaryotic organism and describe the function of each organelle.
-Prokaryotic cells lack membrane-bound organelles found in eukaryotes. However, prokaryotes must perform many of the same functions as eukaryotes. For three of the organelles identified in part (a), explain how prokaryotic cells carry out the associated functions.
-According to the endosymbiotic theory, some organelles are believed to have evolved through a symbiotic relationship between eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells. Describe three observations that support the endosymbiotic theory.

Describe and explain the effects of nicotine on the cardiovascular system

have a question about biology A- levels CIE . Describe and explain the effects of nicotine on the cardiovascular system that can contribute to a person developing coronary heart disease.

My answer is this…..Nicotine makes platelets sticky causing them to easily clot. In the coronary arteries, sticky platelets increase the risk of atherosclerosis. The plaque may break through the lining of the artery to give a rough surface. The blood can no longer flow smoothly and tends to clot. This is called thrombosis and this increases the blood pressure and heart rate.

Can someone correct my answer and please explain what I just wrote and tell me more about this because honestly I don’t understand anything. Thanks in advance and have a nice day.

Identify the function(s) of the lymphatic system

Remember to use a swab when creating your bacterial lawns on nutrient agar. Continue with testing to identify this unknown organism. What is the identity of this unknown bacterium (provide the genus and species name)?

Nanotechnology Applications

Nanotechnology Applications; Nanotechnology is a branch of materials science that deals with manipulating matter on an atomic scale. It is so called because this field deals with engineering on the scale of a billionth of a meter, also known as a nanometer. Nanotechnology seeks to solve a wide range of problems from the construction of atomic scale machines to changing material properties at the atomic level.

Use the Internet, Argosy University library resources, and your textbook to research the field of nanotechnology.

Write a paper discussing some of the basic scientific and technical concepts of nanotechnology. Do the following in your paper:

  • Discuss current or future applications of nanotechnology in fields such as medicine, engineering, space exploration, fuel cell development, air and water purification, and agriculture.
  • Provide at least three examples of real-world applications in use or in development with reliable references.

Write a 2–3-page paper in Word format. Apply APA standards to citation of sources. Use the following file naming convention: LastnameFirstInitial_M2_A2.doc.
