The spread of communicable diseases and the prevalence of non-communicable diseases
Both the spread of communicable diseases and the prevalence of non-communicable diseases can best be reduced by the appropriate application of primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention measures by the community and the individual. Choose one communicable OR noncommunicable disease and provide an example of a primary, secondary and tertiary prevention measure by either the community or individual to reduce the risk of that particular disease. What was surprising to you when researching the various types of prevention for your chose disease?
