Debilitating stroke

A 65 year old female has had a debilitating stroke that has left her with no ability to communicate or understand. She is being kept alive on life support. She has two children and no spouse. Neither has power of attorney for medical decisions. They are in conflict as to what to do even though the medical team and 2 attending physicians have advised them to remove life support. Daughter feels there is always a chance she will wake up, son is ready to comply with medical advice. How do you speak to the family?
