Deep vein thrombosis

1. A client with a deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is prescribed a heparin drip.  The loading dose of 80 units/kg to a maximum of 5000 units is prescribed.  The client weighs 190 lbs.  Available: heparin 5000 units/mL vial.
