Describe the homeostatic processes involved in the control of respiration, there are three elements that contribute to the regulation of ventilation. 4. Where are the “sensors” for oxygen? (there are several, find the ones that would be considered “peripheral”). 5. Where is the “thermostat”, or control center, that regulates your respiratory rate? 6. What are the “effectors”- the part of the body that effects change in respiration?
