The prejudice and Discrimination of different religions
Hello Karine, and thanks for your post. You make an important point as you write, “The prejudice and discrimination of different religions divide the community so strongly. Sadly, some people don’t even like to be in the same room as a specific religion other than theirs. Suppose people of different faiths begin to communicate.
They will realize that religion, though not all the similar, with the concept of one God who is all-present, creates accountability in all individuals and makes them morally upright, irrespective of the religion they belong to.
This concept unites humanity and makes it evolve morally.” Yes, communication is not easy, and sometimes it has nothing to do with what you say but how you say it and the body language you display. “Learning to communicate is not a natural human ability, but rather a product of the cultural and social context one experiences as a child” (Koppelman, 2020). A person’s upbringing has genuine effects on their ability to communicate. Understanding the circular model of communication can result in effective communication.
Understanding the components of effective communication will reduce misunderstanding, improve interpersonal communication with one another, and help minimize, if not eliminate, prejudice and discrimination.
Great and well-written, and I enjoyed reading it.
Please answer to this question. thank you.
Karine, any thoughts on bringing healing to our Nation and helping eliminate racism and discrimination?
