Graded series of stimuli

My report is based on a common type of experiment that measures the response of an organism to a graded series of stimuli.

In my case, the germination response of Sorghum and Wheat seed to temperature forms the basis of the experiment to be written up. Wheat is a winter crop that germinates in autumn, and Sorghum is a summer crop that germinates in spring.

The aim is to determine the optimum germination temperature for Wheat and Sorghum.

Please provide an introduction which should set the context for the work (the problem), background information, and provides the aim of the report.

Also provide a results section for the exepriment with the results below.

Lastly provide a discussion that relates the findings to the aim and the work of others on the same topic.Wheat sd n (seeds) ra sd n (seeds) mean germination (%) 0.0 69.7 87.8 94.7 91.9 42.1 11.1 0.3 mean radicle length (mm) 0.0 9.2 380 380 360 380 380 340 380 380 10* 15 20 25 3.5 9.4 31.3 21.2 0.0 12.2 10.7 15.9 14.4 5.9 7.0 2.5 20.6 5.2 6.8 11.3 3.8 9.8 0.7 72 72 72 61 35 Sorghum I sd n (seeds) ra sd n (seeds) mean germination (%) 0.0 0.0 13.0 46.8 51.5 43.1 36.9 22.3 mean radicle length (mm) 0.0 0.0 14.8 11.3 17.1 21.8 11.8 11.3 340 10* 15 20 25 4.8 14.8 17.8 12.1 18.2 13.8 36 67 72 71 300 340 320 320 300 3.4 9.6 18.9 12.5 23.0 11.9 35 51
