Healthcare system or academic organization.  At no time in history have nurses experienced the amount of change that exists in the current healthcare environment. Advances in technology, modifications in best practices, emergent research, and healthcare regulation and reimbursement are in a state of constant flux. Understanding the nature of change and how to navigate through change is an essential skill for the MSN prepared nurse.

Nurse leaders and educators must be excellent change managers.  Consider the nature and types of change in the healthcare system or academic organization.  Evaluate theories and conceptual frameworks for understanding and navigating change.  Discuss one you have used before, one that is adopted by your organization, or one you think would be helpful to implement in the future.

Reference current literature (within the past 10 years) to support each problem/issue.  Include the article, the text, and any other resources used.  Attach a pdf of each article to the post.
