As the hospital nursing administrator of a 150-bed hospital during the recent COVID-19 outbreak, one of your first tasks is to work on collaboration plans with community agencies to determine the needs and community resources, along with coordinating efforts to meet the needs of the community, inclusive of testing.

Assess resources available in your local community and determine which of those you would collaborate with in the efforts to meets the needs of the community. What would be the goal of the collaboration? Describe the coordinated communication plan and how a patient would progress from symptom to discharge. Assess how you would evaluate the success of the collaboration.
