The Inspiratory Tidal volume

You go to the patient’s bedside and assess the patient’s interaction with the ventilator and note that the inspiratory tidal volume is 450 mL but the expiratory tidal volume is only 392 mL.

1) Please assess the tidal volume values and identify the issue causing the discrepency of values.

2) Please identify how you will fix this problem.
