Early Childhood Educator.

only focus on the following sections:
1- The Purpose and Meaning of the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice
2- The Practice of Early Childhood Education
3-Standard I: Caring and Responsive Relationships
4- Standard III: Safety, Health and Well-Being in the Learning Environment
5- Standard VI: Confidentiality, Release of Information and Duty to Report

3. In this course we’ve focused on several aspects of health. For this question, you are to
address one aspect of health (it could be mental health, physical health, nutrition,
safety/awareness etc.) and discuss how you would promote awareness/ practice advocacy
in your chosen aspect of health in Early Learning and Child Care Programs as well as
Schools.

For example, if you choose to focus on nutrition, you are to discuss what
nutrition is/ what proper nutrition looks like, why it is important to be aware, and why it
is imperative to advocate for proper nutrition and raise awareness through promotion in
ELCC programs/ schools.
