Medication order for morphine

You are the lead Pharmacy Technician at your local trauma center. You are training a new Pharmacy Technician in your unit and have created a scenario to share with them as part of the training strategy. An RN from the Emergency Room (ER) provides a medication order for morphine and states that she needs the medication urgently. Due to the urgency, the attending physician was unable to sign off on the prescription order.
