Patient’s airway and ventilation

You are called to a 40 YOM polypharmacy overdose. The patient has not been seen for hours. You find empty pill packets. D- nil R- minimal response to painful stimuli A – vomit noted B- snoring at a rate of 4/minute C- carotid pulse at 110 The patient is 130kgs and has a thick beard. The patients SPO2 is 85%. Discuss difficulties managing this patient’s airway and ventilation.
