Pharmacies inside of retail facilities

Traditional models were initially pharmacies inside of retail facilities, but shopping is continuing to become more popular online. Healthcare costs are also continuing to increase, and big retailers want to become a larger part of the healthcare industry to increase profits. Some retailers have adapted by merging with existing entities to create partnerships in the healthcare industry. Other retailers have introduced primary care clinics to increase in-store sales and the number of services that can be provided. Adding retail clinics is a large investment, and competition has already started between a few major retailers, so the industry can continue to grow.
