An 84 year old female is complaining of pain when she walks because she has areas on her feet that are bothering her. On physical examination, Betty’s has one small, hardened, well-circumscribed thickened area of the skin on the fourth metatarsal joint of her right foot and two similar regions on the second and third metatarsal joints of her left foot.
