Pre Clinical Assignment Cancer: Lung Cancer, Lymphomas (Hodgkin’s and Non-Hodgkin’s), Glioblastoma (Brain Tumors), Multiple Myeloma, and Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)

I want you to think on a higher level than you have been in the past. Take each of these subjects and answer the following questions. Think about when you are doing clinical prep for a care plan. What are you told to look for?

1. What data do I need to know about this patient’s condition?
2. What precautions are indicated?
3. What interventions do you anticipate?
4. What complications and issues do you anticipate?
5. Education: What do I need to teach the client and family?

This is an individual assignment, meaning that this is a learning assignment to be completed alone, no in pairs or group(s).

Grading will be based on the the completion of work. All questions were answered for each of the concepts above. Work must be detailed and show critical thinking.
