Psycho-social effects on communities and health care professionals.

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused numerous psycho-social effects on communities and health care professionals. You are the primary investigator of a research team that wants to investigate thesepsycho-social effects on both the community membersas well as the health care professionals of a town which only has one small hospital.

Plan a mixedmethods research that aims at developing a support programme to alleviate the stress the pandemic is causing to both the community members and the health care professionals.

1.   You plan to have three phases in the study inorder to reach the aim of a psycho-  social support programme. The third phase will entail the development of the psycho-social support programme. The sub-questions 2.2.1 – 2.2.3 refer to the first and second phase of the study.
