Solanum virus disease
Within four days, 50 new cases, all with similar symptoms, presented at local emergency rooms around the city. These new cases included staff and students of SJU as well as healthcare workers who came in contact with the initial cases. Interviews with family members of the cases revealed that 60% of cases complained of headache, high fever, vomiting, and chest pains prior to onset of the neurodegenerative symptoms. Blood specimens of the initial cases reveal Solanum virus. List the four levels of cases and propose criteria for each case level as it applies to the Solanum virus.
