Taking notes as a way to anchor your learning
Directions: It is generally agreed that taking notes as a way to anchor your learning. That is what this journal assignment is all about helping you to anchor the readings in your mind. In this course, you are asked to write a reflection of your “take away” from the assigned readings.
Please pay special attention to the directions for each journal assignment. You will be asked to address specific learning objectives for the assigned week and reflect upon your personal learning as well.
Note that these journals are NOT public. The faculty in the course have access to them but your student colleagues do not.
Please record your “aha” moments or other insights that you may have gained about yourself or your organization. The minimal length for the journal entry is TWO substantive paragraph, but you are encouraged to write as much as you wish. No citations are required in your journal entries but including outside readings is encouraged.
Week 11 Journal: Write about your reaction to the course content, the readings, and your own leadership style. Reflect on your personal growth, understanding, and development as a leader while briefly addressing this week’s Learning Objective 2.
