Classical view of The Lord’s Supper

Which classical view of the Lord’s Supper do you find most compelling and why (consubstantial, transubstatial, etc)? Is it permitted for families to take the Lord’s Supper at home away from corporate worship? Why? In the U.S., where people are free to float from church to church, how effective is with holding the Lord’s Supper from people the Church is disciplining? Should this practice still be implemented? Why?
