Describe the flow of a cation across the myocyte membrane if the Vmmionb. If Eionm is set to that ion’s equilibrium potential (V = E)  for a cation = +50 mV and the myocyte’s V is -50 mV, will the cation tend to diffuse into, or out of the myocyte (or exhibit no net diffusion in either direction)?
