Transient ischemic attacks

After experiencing transient ischemic attacks. Mr. D. has been started on clopidogrel (Plavix). He has had a history of atherosclerotic heart disease and has had problems with peptic ulcer disease .Mr. D. asks, “Why am I taking this fancy medicine?
