Venous stasis insufficiency

A patient is diagnosed with Venous stasis insufficiency. What treatment is most likely and why?

– tissue plasminogen activator tPA to dissolve arterial clots

– drop the legs closer than the heart: allow blood flow to bypass DVT

– complete bed rest; venous stasis reduces the risk of thrombosis

– elevation of the feet; enhances venous return
