Pick a supermarket that focuses on food items and food culture. Observation and answer following questions 1) Name and address where market is located 2) Primary ethnic food culture it serves 3) Vegetables and/or fruits available at this market that may not be available at your neighborhood Safeway or similar mainstream grocery store. 4) Example of a beverage that seems to be popular at the store which you may not find at a mainstream grocery store 5) Example of a few spices or other ingredients you observed that are not typically available in mainstream grocery stores. 6) Examples of a cultural snack food (i.e. like the chips aisle at a mainstream grocery store) 7) Other observations? Were prepared foods sold? What differences did you notice in the meat or seafood departments? Did you buy anything at the market and if you did, please tell us about what you bought.
