Therapy for a non-fatal problem

Write 2-3 page research paper on the following topic.

1. Describe whether a patient has a right to choose their therapy for a non-fatal problem such as pain or a possible fatal problem such as cancer. Assess whether their provider should be required to collaborate on such therapy.
2. If the patient chooses a therapy that is culturally based, relate whether they should be able to continue the therapy and if not, why not. Describe how nurses can obtain information on alternative therapies to share with the interdisciplinary team including patients and families
3. Evaluate whether complementary or alternative practitioners should be included in the interdisciplinary team. Explain how requests for complementary and alternative therapy are handled in your clinical area and how they might be integrated safely    (3 current references and in text citation in each paragraph)
